Laser Genesis and Microdermabrasion

(1) ‘LASER GENESIS’ Skin Rejuvenation

By using extremely short pulses of laser light the Genesis laser can gently heat the upper dermis layer in the skin. This has two distinct effects:-

What does the treatment feel like?

The treatment has sometimes been described as relaxing and therapeutic. You will experience a gentle warming of your skin during the procedure as the laser handpiece is moved backwards and forwards over your skin.

How many treatments are needed?

Facial redness usually responds very well to two or three treatments. For improvements in skin texture, fine lines, and wrinkles, a course of six treatments is usually needed. This may vary from person to person.

(2) MICRODERMABRASION

Microdermabrasion treatment is an effective, non-surgical way to reduce acne scars, fine wrinkles and sunspots by exfoliating the top layer of the skin. No chemicals are used, only aluminum oxide micro crystals that gently sandblast your skin, leaving it smooth and fresh. Microdermabrasion also stimulates collagen production, helping your skin rejuvenate faster than normal. Sometimes called the ‘Lunchtime Peel’, microdermabrasion treatment takes about half an hour and requires no downtime.

How many treatments are needed?

One treatment will leave your skin feeling smoother. A course of microdermabrasion treatment is advisable. The number of sessions will vary depending on your skin condition.

Can Genesis and Microdermabrasion be combined?
